Despite the brand’s minimalist aesthetic, A.P.C. is always experimenting in subtle ways to bring new life to street style. One of the ways they’ve done this is by partnering with other artists, musicians, and designers to create capsule collections.
APC X JJJJound
The Paris-based fashion house has recently partnered with Kid Kudi and Brain Dead as part of their “INTERACTION” series, and the latest such instalment is with Montreal design studio, JJJJound.

You may not be aware of it, but JJJJound is one of the most significant influences in streetwear and digital aesthetics in the last decade and a half. Before Instagram, before Tumblr, and before Pinterest, there was JJJJound.
It began in 2006 as an online mood board headed up by Justin Saunders, which features endless photos of fashion, interiors, cars, and other images that Saunders deems fitting for the aesthetic he’s created.
JJJJound would go on to inspire and establish the minimalist aesthetic that has solidly established itself in contemporary men’s style. Even Kanye West has credited JJJJound for some of his inspiration.
Today, this design studio has partnered with some of the heaviest hitters in the industry to create exclusive sneakers, clothing, and even housewares. JJJJound has had a profound influence on casual menswear, and their latest partnership with A.P.C. is evidence of that.
