5 SPOTS ON EDMONTON’S 104TH STREET TO CELEBRATE FATHER’S DAY
If you’re looking for things to do in Edmonton to celebrate Father’s Day this weekend, look no further. The 104th Street Promenade has you covered.
Hot tip: Sunday hours downtown can be limited, so stop by on Saturday instead of Sunday to take full advantage of 104th Street (including City Market).

We couldn’t get this blog started without a little plug, right? Come hang out with us on Saturday! We’re going to have free sliders from Blue Plate Diner and craft beer selected by deVine all day Saturday, June 16th. Take a breather from the City Market and stop in to get your fill.

Whether you grab a cup to go or decide to sit and chat for a while, you won’t be disappointed in Credo’s coffee offerings. They’ve got one of our favourite Americanos in the city, and make sure you buy some beans as a gift for Dad.
3. Find Artisan Whisky and Fine Wines at deVine

The folks at deVine are insanely knowledgeable, so if you’d like to find Dad a good bottle of whisky or wine, this is the place to do it. If you or Dad have questions, they’ll have answers.
4. Shuck Some Oysters at Black Pearl
When: Saturday, June 16, 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM or Sunday, June 17, 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Spend the late afternoon shucking oysters at Black Pearl. They pride themselves on serving Canada’s best seafood, and if you stop by during happy hour (4-6pm), you can take advantage of their $2 buck a shuck deal.
5. Try Evening Cocktails at Baijiu
When: Saturday, June 16, 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Where: Baijiu, 10359-104th Street
Try something a little cool and a little different with cocktails at Baijiu. Their drinks are unlike anything you can get elsewhere, and they’ll usually mix up something custom if you tell them your preferences. For a dad who likes to experiment a bit, Baijiu is a fantastic choice.
Bonus: Check out the Neon Sign Museum
If you’re on 104th around sundown, stroll by the Neon Sign Museum when it’s all lit up. The vintage signs might spark a hint of nostalgia for Dad to mark the end of the evening.
