Established in 2011, O’Keeffes is an Irish footwear brand that handcrafts their shoes in small batches in Italy by a family that has been making shoes since the 1940s.
Although they may stay low on the radar, these shoes are often seen in the pages of Esquire, The New York Times, and GQ. A quiet favourite of stylists and celebs alike, O’Keeffes creates classic shoes with a contemporary feel.
The brand’s founder, Maud O’Keeffe, has a fashion background, but fashion isn’t what she’s interested in anymore. Rather than following trends, Maud focuses her team on designing and crafting timeless shoes that transcend seasonal fads. In the collection you’ll see monk straps, derby shoes, brogues, and cap toe dress shoes. All looks that never go out of style.
Their shoes are goodyear welted, with their own patent-pending construction. This not only makes the shoes more comfortable, it also makes them durable, easy to repair, and water resistant. You’ll notice when you try them on that they feel like they are already broken in.
