Fight the FlurriesNovember 2nd, 2012
Well gents, it's that time of year again! The snow has blown into our beautiful city and caused us to roll into an early hibernation. I know, I know, we don't want the cold and snow this early in the season, but the truth is, the sidewalks need shovelling and work doesn't stop! Let's suck it up and get on with winter life in style. Outerwear in a guy's wardrobe is a key piece in looking stylish and keeping warm.
Have a look at some different ways to pull off the winter looks in style.
For those medium cold days, down-filled wool/cashmere vest. Wear it over your suit on the way to the office like all the gents in Florence. Don't forget the sheepskin gloves! All in the details.
The duffel coat is a great addition to the wardrobe. Not too casual or dressy. Commonly overlooked by most guys out on the winter jacket hunt, but is a great piece to add to the closet if you already have a go-to overcoat.
A nylon down-fill is great for kicking around in. incredibly warm, light and can be dressed up or down.
We have a bit of a theme going here.. WE LOVE DOWN-FILLED ANYTHING!! This is no exception. In our mind the parka is a must have! We are not talking about your huge oversized arctic expedition parka either. Wool/cashmere down-fill with leather trim in a slimmer milanese cut is a good go to this season.
