Converse All Star

What started as The Converse Rubber Shoe Company in 1908, founded by Marquis Mills Converse out of Massachusetts, had soon become an athletic shoe manufacturer by 1915. The company launched its first iconic Converse All Star Basketball shoe in 1917. In 1932 the signature of basketball player Chuck Taylor was added to the All-Star patch after working with the company for 11 years promoting the brand and improving its wearablity for athletes.
